Memorial Medical Centerâ€”Lufkin Welcomes New Internal Medicine Physician
Angelina Internal Medicine Associates and Memorial Medical Center—Lufkin welcomes Richard Roby, M.D. as the newest member of the Angelina County Medical Staff. Dr. Roby is a Board Certified Internal Medicine physician, specializing in the prevention and treatment of adult diseases.
With more than 15 years medical experience, Dr. Roby joins Drs. David Glenn, Sean Moran, Michael Huber and Morris Mickelson at Angelina Internal Medicine Associates, located at 1111 West Frank Street, Suite 100 on the Memorial Medical Center—Lufkin campus.

Dr. Roby comes to Lufkin from Clifton, Texas where he practiced Internal Medicine at the Clifton Medical Clinic and Goodall-Witcher Hospital. In addition to his private practice experience, Dr. Roby has cared for patients at the Temple VA Hospital. He is a member of the Texas Medical Association and the recipient of numerous medical awards including a two time winner of the “Outstanding Resident Teacher” in the Department of Internal Medicine at Texas A&M College of Medicine.
Prior to his career, Dr. Roby earned his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Texas at Dallas. He later graduated from the Health Science College of Medicine from Texas A&M University with his Doctorate in Medicine. Dr. Roby completed his internship and residency at Scott & White Memorial Hospital in Temple, Texas. He served as chief resident during his 3rd year.
