Investments

CHI St. Luke's Health Memorial has made significant investments in equipment, facility improvements and expansions.  In 2006, CHI St. Luke's Health Memorial became the first rural health system in America to purchase more than $20 million dollars in technology.  Our investment includes:

  • Electronic Medical Records
  • PACS Imaging
  • Vocera Communication System

Additionally, CHI St. Luke's Health Memorial invested $48 million dollars in the construction of a new six-story patient tower on the Livingston campus.  In 2009, CHI St. Luke's Health Memorial opened the doors to the area’s first dedicated heart and stroke care center.  The 4-story patient tower on the Lufkin campus features a 24-bed Intensive Care Unit, 26-bed Progressive Care Unit, and a dedicated cardiac floor complete with operating suites and cardiac catherization lab.
